Walking with Christ - Colossians 2:6, By: Louise Malan

Walking with Christ - Colossians 2:6, By: Louise Malan

When I was saved as a child, I did not know all there was to know about being a Christian, but God directed my path as I walked with Him through life (Colossians 2:6). I grew up in a home, in South Africa, where we went to church every Sunday. My dad read the Bible to me at night and we always prayed together. I did my best to please my parents and teachers and was a good child. It wasn't until I was 12 years old, that I realized I needed a personal relationship with Jesus. During a youth group meeting, the leader explained that I needed to repent my sins and trust in Jesus to be saved. I realized I was a sinner and I accepted Christ as my savior. After I repented, I began to understand what I was missing in my life.

He Blessed Us With A Miracle

The title of this blog post really speaks for it all, and so does the photograph above. While you may not see what I see in this image, it is there. We are so excited to tell you that God has blessed us with a baby after a long journey of trying to conceive.

Being a mom can be stressful — it’s not all tea parties and nap times. Many new moms fantasize about the joy, the cuddles, the blissful love of their babies, and they’re unprepared for the guilt, the anxiety, and the overwhelming feelings of inadequacy that erupt when you realize you CAN’T do it all. Even seasoned moms get blown away by the stuff they’re not doing that they think they should be

Our Journey to Become Parents.....

Our Journey to Become Parents.....

Most women I know spend their entire 20’s trying hard not to conceive a child. They think that once they reach their 30’s, they'll be in a sweet spot in their career, gotten married, and then when they're ready, getting pregnant would be easy. I can say from personal experience, these were my thoughts exactly. I thought getting pregnant someday for me was going to be a breeze.
